Terms of Service
The agreement between you and GRC Launchpad for using the site, signing up for an account, and upgrading to Pro or Team. The plain-English summary is in the intro; the binding terms are in the numbered sections that follow.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using the public pages of GRC Launchpad, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into them on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are personal and not transferable. One user per account. Sharing credentials between teammates defeats the per-user access controls and is not permitted; use a Team plan for cohorts.
3. Accounts and authentication
You are responsible for keeping your password and your account credentials secure. We enforce a minimum password length of 8 characters at signup and on password change, and you should choose a unique password you do not reuse elsewhere. Notify us at grc-launchpad@polsia.app the moment you suspect your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access that originates from a credential you failed to protect.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Plans and prices (USD):
- Free. $0. Catalog, briefs, workbench, manual grading path. No card needed.
- Pro annual. $19.99 per month, billed annually ($239.88/yr). Includes up to 200 AI rubric reviews per month, the AI company generator, and the full readiness dashboard.
- Pro monthly. $24.99 per month, billed monthly. Same features as Pro annual, billed at a higher monthly rate.
- Team. Custom-priced. Seats across your team, cohort progress reporting, instructor dashboards, priority support.
Checkout is handled by Stripe under a hosted Stripe Connect session managed by the platform; we never see your full card details. Prices and amounts are computed and applied on our server before the Stripe redirect; the browser cannot set them. The AI-rubric-review caps are enforced server-side per user per calendar month.
Refunds. Stripe Connect payments are not automatically refunded by Stripe. For Pro annual, you can cancel any time and avoid the next renewal; we pro-rate refunds case by case. Email grc-launchpad@polsia.app to request one and we respond within a few business days. For Team, contact your account manager or the same address.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. For Team, cancellation is governed by your order form. Account deletion is separate (see the Privacy Policy, section 7 — Data retention and deletion).
6. Acceptable use
When using GRC Launchpad, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise bulk-extract the catalog, briefs, workbench templates, or lab prompts without our written permission.
- Use the AI rubric grader, the company generator, or any other endpoint in a way that attempts to bypass the per-month review cap or to harvest prompts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code, model weights, or any non-public mechanism from the service.
- Upload or submit content to the workbench that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Impersonate another user or attempt to access another user’s account, progress, billing record, or grading history.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by flooding endpoints, injecting malicious payloads, or bypassing rate limits.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
7. Intellectual property
Course content, lab briefs, lab prompts, glossary entries, the workbench templates, and our marks and branding are owned by GRC Launchpad and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial preparation for GRC interviews and work. You may not redistribute or sell any of it without our written permission.
Your workbench artifacts, the answers you write to lab prompts, and any documents you generate through the workbench are yours. You grant us a limited license to host them so we can deliver the service to you; we will not publish or share them with third parties.
8. AI-generated content
Pro subscribers get up to 200 AI rubric reviews per month and access to the AI company generator. When you submit a lab answer or workbench artifact for review, the text is sent to the AI service for grading; the service returns scores, strengths, and gaps.
AI output is advisory. It is not a certification, a hiring recommendation, a guarantee of interview success, or a substitute for human review. Treat it as one input among many.
9. Third-party services
We rely on a small set of named third parties to deliver the service:
- Stripe.Payment subprocessor for Pro and Team plans under a hosted Stripe Connect session. We do not store your card data; Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment step.
- Transactional email proxy.Outbound transactional mail only — signup, password reset, receipts. The proxy does not accept attachments, cc/bcc, or a custom From address.
- Managed PostgreSQL. Account, billing, and progress records.
We are not the operator of those services and we are not responsible for their behavior beyond the choices we make in selecting them. Each has its own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI output will be accurate.
Nothing on GRC Launchpad is a guarantee of a job offer, a certification outcome, a promotion, or a hiring decision. AI rubric output is a study aid.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to your use of the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for Pro or Team in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GRC Launchpad is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We update these Terms when our practices change. The “Last updated” line at the top reflects the most recent revision; for material changes we also surface a notice on the dashboard after you sign in. Continued use of the service after a material change means you accept the updated Terms.
